Men's Field Ministry Program — Nash
Prison Programs
Judson College has partnered with the North Carolina and Florida Departments of Public Safety to offer a high-quality, fully accredited liberal arts education within a Judeo-Christian worldview to the incarcerated population of North Carolina and Florida.
Why do we exist?
We believe that we are called to participate in the mission of God by proclaiming the hope of the gospel into every sphere of society. Our mission is to educate and equip incarcerated people of faith to serve and affect positive cultural change from the inside out.

Our Goal
Our goal is to provide training and discipleship to a group of people that rarely get attention. Upon completion of the BA in pastoral ministry and counseling, graduates will be grouped into teams and sent out to various prisons in the state, where they can hold a range of responsibilities in the prison. These can include providing a wider range of counseling services, mentoring newly incarcerated people, tutoring, crisis ministry, and community service ministry.

How You Can Help
Prison Programs provides resources for training incarcerated students by delivering a rigorous, liberal arts education rooted in a Judeo-Christian worldview. As students study, expand their knowledge, and are prepared for service it can increase the long-term impact on both individual lives and the system of North Carolina. When you give, you are equipping people to lead and serve in whatever they do, wherever they are.
