Magnolia Kitchen is the eatery located in the Akin Student Center. Magnolia Kitchen serves up new and delicious meals all week long. Visit throughout the day to enjoy a snack or a full meal.

Meal Plans

Your ID card will carry the amount of prepaid swipes associated with your meal plan. Whenever you are hungry, just head over to Magnolia Kitchen, swipe your card, and eat! Each swipe will provide you with one meal at Magnolia Kitchen. See below to find the perfect plan for you.

To purchase a meal plan, please email [email protected] with your name, student ID number, and the meal plan you wish to purchase. The meal plan will be added to your student account. You can also stop by Accounting Services, which is located on the first floor of Stealey Hall.

Unlimited Plan

Students on the Unlimited Plan have access to every meal at Magnolia Kitchen — allowing you to enjoy all your favorites! All students who meet the following criteria will be enrolled in the Unlimited Plan, and swipes on this plan may not be shared.

  • Living in campus housing (dorms OR apartments)
  • Less than 26 years of age
  • Not married (i.e. engaged or single)
  • Enrolled in courses as an undergraduate or 5-year Graduate program

Unlimited Plan: $2,300.00

Block Plans

On-campus students not living in Lolley Hall or Goldston Hall may opt out of the Unlimited Plan by downgrading to the Block 100 plan. Students are welcome to share swipes on these plans, and unused swipes do not carry over to the next semester. To request this plan, you must email [email protected] by the drop deadline for the semester.

100-Block Plan: $1,000.00

Students who are not automatically enrolled in a meal plan are welcome to purchase any of the following plans:

  • Unlimited Plan: $2,300
  • 100 Block Plan: $1,000
  • 45 Block Plan: $473
  • 15 Block Plan: $165
