Some degree changes can be made online by filling out the appropriate form for either college students or graduate students. Some degree changes may require you to reapply to the new program through the Admissions office. Read the instructions on the correct form below or contact us to verify if you should go through Admissions.

Auditing a course allows someone to take a class without the benefit of a grade or credit for a course. A person who audits a course does so for the purposes of self-enrichment and academic exploration. Auditors do not have access to tests or quizzes. The fee to audit any campus class is $75 (non-refundable).

Audit a Class

If you are a new student and have not already completed New Student Orientation (NSO) on Experience, you’ll need to complete this prior to registering for classes. NSO includes many helpful instructions on how to register for classes and how the different offices function to help you. If you are having trouble with this, contact our office at [email protected] and they will be happy to help.

Once you complete NSO, you should be able to login to Self Service and register for courses. You can also view your academic plan by clicking on “Registration” in the top left corner and toggling down to “Academic Plan.” This will show you the list of courses needed to complete your degree. Please note: academic plans do not become available until the start date of your first semester. In the meantime, for assistance in planning what classes to register for, consult your degree requirements in the Academic Catalog.

The Southeastern Collegiate Partnership (SCP) helps reduce course duplication for students who have completed an undergraduate degree in theological education or taken classes equivalent to those in the M.Div. or M.A. core.

Before changing your major, ensure all credits apply to the new curriculum by consulting your advisor. Confirm with the Financial Aid Office that this change won’t affect your aid.
