The major in Global Studies introduces students to the variety and complexity of cultures around the world. Students are taught to understand people of other cultures, worldviews, and religions and to interact with them winsomely. Those majoring in Global Studies will be well equipped to communicate the gospel in various contexts and prepared for continued studies in seminary or graduate school.

What can I do with this degree?

  • Become a missionary with the IMB or NAMB or other missions organization

  • Develop competencies to serve as effective missions leaders in all contexts

  • Equip a local body of believers to be missions-minded

  • Lead missions teams as a member of a non-profit in a variety of settings

Requirements

  • Students who wish to pursue this course of study should apply to Judson College for the BA in Global Studies. Prospective students must meet with the program coordinator prior to being accepted into the program.
  • Once students apply, they must receive approval from the program coordinator to be admitted into the program.
