Judson College Celebrates the 2025 House Tournament
Mary Asta Mountain | May 06, 2025

This past weekend, Judson College celebrated the close of the 2024-2025 school year with its annual house tournament. Following a week of competition, including social media challenges, humanities day, and field day, Schaeffer house took home the winning cup for the second time in house system history.
Over the past two semesters, the five houses — Schaeffer, Fuller, Elliott, Brainerd, and Liele — flourished in community and, of course, a bit of friendly competition. They welcomed their incoming freshman, celebrated friends’ graduations, served on mission trips together, and competed in house events, uniting together around the cause of Christ.
This year marked a significant moment in the college’s history for many reasons including the renaming of the college to Judson College; the launch and first year of Elliott house; the completion of the first phase of Ledford Student Center renovations; and many other exciting developments at Judson.
Closing with the house tournament, the school year ended with a resounding finale and the following scores, tallied over the course of numerous house competitions and events:
- Schaeffer House in first place with 1,329 points
- Fuller House in second place with 1,180 points
- Elliot House in third place with 1,014 points
- Brainerd House in fourth place with 899 points
- Liele House in fifth place with 864 points
