This minor is designed to prepare women for Christian ministries other than the pastorate. It will prepare women for a wide variety of family, church, and mission ministries: (1) church staff and denominational ministries to women; (2) evangelistic work; (3) women’s conference ministries; (4) advocacy work; (5) teaching the Bible; (6) addressing the practical, moral, and spiritual needs of women. The Danvers Statement describes the perspective from which courses in the Ministry to Women minor are taught.
